A haunted place, Malcha Mahal, New Delhi

 


Malcha Mahal or the Qilayat Mahal was built by the sultan Firuz Shah Tughlaq. When he went for hunting he stayed in this place. Afterwards begam Wilayat Mahal proclaimed to be the owner of this place. She claimed that she belonged to the royal family of Oudh. She lived there with her daughter Sakina Mahal and son Ali Raza. Though this place was ruined a long time ago, this family lived their alone in the forest. This place is situated near Chanakyapuri in New Delhi.



After begam died only his son Ali Raza lived their alone. If someone visited there he attacked them with a gun. According to the local people he liked to read and write. He was writing about his life that how he ended up there and how he was living his life alone. In the year 2017 he was died. People found this body in that ruined house. Some locals called him living ghost. Sometimes people saw him to come out from the forest and after few time he went back to that house. After his death this place became a haunted place and some locals claimed that they have heard voices of begam Wilayat and saw her. Many journalists and youtube vloggers visited this place and explore the area. But they did not find any evidence of any supernatural activities. Even the international journalists are also interested to cover this story.  According to some explorer there could be some antisocial groups. For their antisocial works they are creating this haunting stories as a cover up. Even many ghost hunters have explored this place at night with their advance equipment like night vision glasses, microphones etc. But they also did not find any strong evidence of paranormal activities. But the locals believe in those ghost stories and they are still afraid to go that place. So the Malcha Mahal is still creating some curiosity among in the world.
